Hand made French heavy black silk
Fringed maybe the outline of a Victorian purse. It is very well made and has a lot of work in it silk gimp braiding and small silk cordee piped around the bridges.
It is 8 x 4 inches with the silk fringe adding another 1.5 inch to the perimeter. Great piece for period costume.
